Karin Plato is one of Canada's finest jazz vocalists and composers. She has received accolades from the press for her recordings and for her live performances. Since 1996 she has been carving a niche for herself in the world of contemporary jazz. Her eclectic repertoire includes several of her own compositions and arrangements in addition to many well loved classics.  She has performed in several Canadian Festivals including the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, The Port Hope All Canadian Jazz Festival, The Harmony Arts Festival, The Sasktel Jazz Festival and others.

She has been the producer of a number of concerts including There's A Song In The Air (2004), Denzal Sinclaire and Karin Plato (2003), Rendezvous with Rodgers and Hart (2002) and The April Arrangement (2001).
